Mark A. Winsor is the Founding Partner of Winsor Law Offices. Mr. Winsor focuses his practice primarily in Business Law, Estate Planning and Investment Law, including real estate and private equity. Mr. Winsor has been an Entrepreneur for nearly 30 years. He has created and developed businesses in financial services, international trade and distribution and professional services. He is distinguished for his knowledge in Self-Directed Retirement Investing and advises clients and other professionals on investing IRA and 401(k) funds in real estate and private equity.
Mr. Winsor served as a missionary for the L.D.S. Church in Norway and learned to speak Norwegian fluently. After his mission he co-founded an import and distribution business in Norway. From 1991 to 2001 he built a Financial Services Business which spanned five states, including Utah, Ohio, Arizona, Hawaii and California.
Mr. Winsor served for many years in the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard and achieved the rank of Major. His service included commanding a Field Artillery Battery and an appointment as the Social Actions officer for an Air National Guard base where he was responsible for investigating, counseling and training issues related to discrimination, equal opportunity and sexual harassment cases.
Mr. Winsor graduated Magna Cum Laude from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, California. He is a member of the Arizona Bar and the Maricopa County Bar Association. He is on the Maricopa Bar Association Task Force for Minorities and Women. Mr. Winsor also sits on the Board of Lamson College and is Chair of Maricopa Lawyer, the monthly publication for the Maricopa Bar Association.
Mr. Winsor and his wife Shelly have six children and two grandchildren. He is very active in his church and is also involved in Scouting.
